Wedding Dance Lessons Brighton
Wedding dance lessons in Brighton for exactly two students and one song. Private hours at your home, your venue or a hired city room, with a choreographer who begins from whoever's more nervous and never outruns them. The result: a first dance you'll actually look forward to, not survive.
First dance · private
Song, date, nerves.
Hand all three over.
Those three details are enough for us to suggest a package and a first lesson slot — replied to by a person within the day. No song chosen? Send the shortlist, or just the argument.
- Lessons at home, at your venue, or in a hired Brighton room
- Evenings and weekends — built around working couples
- All of Sussex covered; music and speaker travel with us

not promises.
Same private hour, same teacher, every rung — the only question is how far up you want to climb. Most couples land on five; the honest ones who just want to stop dreading it take one or three and leave delighted.
How the dance gets made.
Lesson by lessonListen and watch
We hear the song, watch you both move, and pick a style that flatters rather than exposes.
Moves that survive nerves
A small vocabulary drilled until it's automatic — nothing that collapses under adrenaline.
Dress rehearsal
Run it in the shoes, and in something that swishes like the outfit will.
Film every visit
A phone clip from each lesson to practise between sessions — boredom is the goal, in the best way.
Each choreographer builds their own way — take this as the usual arc, not a fixed syllabus.
Cold feet, answered.
What engaged couples in Brighton ask before the first lesson. Hen crowd? The hen party classes are next door; weekly learners, the class lists are open.
How many lessons does a first dance really take?+
One steadies a sway, three build a shape you trust, five turn your own song into a proper routine, and eight cover entrances, dips and ambition. We'll tell you honestly which bracket you're in after the first hour — plenty of couples need fewer than they feared.
We can't dance. At all. Is that fine?+
It's the default. The routine is engineered around whichever of you is more terrified, and nothing goes in that both of you can't perform on jelly legs in front of a marquee full of phones.
Will any song work?+
Almost — we've choreographed to indie, drum-heavy pop, film scores and songs in three languages. If your track fights a slow dance, we'll carve out the sixty seconds of it that doesn't and build there. No song yet? That's a brilliant first lesson.
Where do wedding lessons happen?+
Your living room, your venue if they'll open the doors early, or a room we book in central Brighton — whichever suits the two of you. We drive to weddings and homes across Sussex, from Hove and Worthing out to Lewes and the coast.
We're getting married very soon. Too late?+
Rarely. The Last Minute intensive exists for the final fortnight: two focused hours, £150, panic converted into a calm and simple dance. Earlier is easier, but late is absolutely workable.
Can the routine stay a surprise for the guests?+
Love it when it does. Rehearse in secret, let everyone expect the standard shuffle, then don't deliver one. We've also quietly prepared father-daughter dances and a groom's surprise solo — say who's in on it and we'll play along.
